But you might not want to leave the cottage it’s that splendid!

Newport is just 4-miles away with wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs. We’d highly recommend The Golden Lion, The Canteen and Llys Meddyg for good food. Slightly closer is the village of Cwm-yr-Eglwys, which provides a stunning backdrop for your holidays, with sand and single coves and beautiful walks aplenty along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Newport Sands and Dinas Cross are also close by, giving you everything you need for your holiday.

Cwm-yr-Eglwys beach is just 2.4 miles away and provides year-round access to its sandy and shingle surface. With car parking in the village close by you’ve got access to the shingle cove that houses stunning rock pools at low tide. The dog friendly beach has an interesting feature in the form of the end wall of a chapel on the beach front, the rest of which was washed away during storms in 1859. A range of pubs and restaurants can be found at The Freemasons Arms a mile away, The Old Sailor at Pwllgwaelod and several more in Newport. Fishguard and Cardigan are both within easy reach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts just 2.4 miles away from our beautiful West Wales Cottages.
