Pembrokeshire is home to Britain's only Coastal National Park, with its Coastal Path stretching 186 miles.
Whales and Dolphins swim around the coastline, whilst Red Kites and Choughs soar overhead, from the sheer sea cliffs to the heights of the Preseli Hills.
Pembrokeshire is a haven for walkers with a total of 186 miles of coastal path surrounding the entire coast of the county as just the beginning. The Pembrokeshire coastal path passes through an impressive 58 beaches and 14 harbours and is a challenging walk if completed in its entirety, however there’s no need to worry as most visitors choose a section at a time to tackle and explore. As the home of Britain’s only Coastal National Park, Pembrokeshire offers the best walking facilities and routes for any walker looking to get the most from the outdoors.
Whether you’re an expert walker looking for adventure or a casual day walker there are routes suitable for everyone while visiting Experience Môr. Head to the coast path to enjoy a section from Solva to Whitesands, a total of 13 miles, where you will discover beautiful locations such as St Justinian’s, St Non’s as well as great views of Ramsey Island. Or how about a more gentle and family friendly walk at locations such as Saundersfoot, Newport or Broad Haven to name a few.
Stroll along the cliff tops and take in the surrounding scenery in all its glory, from wide-open beaches to secluded hidden coves, Pembrokeshire has it all.
And it’s not only the coast which is worth a visit in Pembrokeshire, head inland to sample the green hills of the area. The Preseli Hills in North Pembrokeshire is a contrast from the coast with open moorland and Iron Age Hill forts to discover. Or head to Llys y Fran Country Park centred around a reservoir where you can head for a short stroll or a long ramble.
One things for sure head out with a picnic and enjoy exploring the countryside and beauty of the area before heading back to our Experience Môr holiday cottages to relax after a day out on the trails. Our cottages are kitted out for walkers with facilities such as boot rooms and even outdoor warm showers at some of our cottages…. so what are you waiting for.
Time stands still
as you enter a
secluded wooded valley
that feels all your very own.

I really don't have words to express. Don't want to see heaven, but this is heaven on earth & also a holy place. I wish I could write 100 pages about the cottage but this will be less.
- “This was our first visit to Penmynydd Uchaf and we absolutely loved it. With its fantastic views and beautiful location we couldn’t have wanted more. The house was stunning, very well equipped and very very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave! We will most definitely be visiting again and we hope to visit one of Jonty’s other properties in the very near future. Thanks for the memories Jonty.”
Our 4th stay in Jonathan's cottages, idyllic setting here our favourite location. We'll be back I'm sure. Thank you
Had the most amazing time - that good we even extended our stay by 2 nights! We certainly had the best experience with Jonty & Dan, both top boys. Loved taking Talley (Jonty's young lab) with our 2 on beaches. We will be back!!

We loved the peace and quiet. the sound of the birds, bats and river was so enjoyable and relaxing. The only disturbances was the clay pigeon shooting but the boys enjoyed it very much.
Thank you. A perfect family holiday, lovely people and a super location. Recommend riverside walks and coasteering in Abereiddy.
Relaxing cottage in such a beautiful hidden spot. Perfect walks with the dogs & fishing on the river (we caught a small trout!).
Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location, loved the lengthy single track road to the cottage, the garden wildlife, the river and the pitch black nights. Newport town and beach is great - dogs loved it. Great walks including some fantastic viewpoints from mountains in the local area.
We loved the local walks. The woodland walk is great for morning dog walks. A great destination for a 'doggie holiday'.
A stunning week of wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful walks, secret beaches and eating out!
We've stayed in houses in Wales for many years and this one goes straight to the top. Great location full of great walks and beaches.
Beautiful unspoilt location within hidden valley. Another wonderful stay in this stunning location. We shall return!
Perfect location. The river and birds were fantastic!
The kitchen is a delight to cook in, even if - while on holiday- the desire to bake takes you, you will be able to find all the equipment you need.
Fantastic ice creams can be found at New Quay, found opposite the public toilets. Best ice cream I have ever had!
If you go to Cenarth Falls, Ty-Te Cenarth is really good for food, amazing staff and fantastic food.
House & location stunning. Lots of good dog walks. Welcome pack in house really good & most helpful.
Jonathan is absolutely lovely & can't do enough for you. We will be back - first time I have ever said that. Beautiful place.
Lovely week in this fantastic spot. Kids loved the beach. Great meals at the Golden Lion. Many thanks Jonathan for your great hospitality!!!
Very comfortable beds, fantastically well stocked kitchen, Wifi/Sky TV. Couldn't really ask for more to be honest - great.
A lovely week with weather from sleet to warm sunshine. Great fun walking / running on Newport Sands. Thanks Jonathan.
A lovely holiday. Loved exploring the coastline. Trip round Ramsay Island in the RSPB boat fabulous. Lots of seals and pups - and a peregrine falcon! Wonderful.
Very pleasant location. Accommodation excellent. Nice walks along the river bank.
We have stayed at Upper Porthmawr Farmhouse several times and each time it has been wonderful. The cottage is situated overlooking Whitesands. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach down hill. The location is wonderful and St Davids a short drive away. It doesn't matter when you stay in the year the area has a great deal to offer!
We had a hugely enjoyable week at Glantawel. It's a delightful cottage, renovated to a very high standard with a warm and homely feel that is instantly welcoming. We felt very cosy and undisturbed during our stay. The only noise we could hear was the singing of birds and the tinkling of water from the pretty river that flows by the garden. There are lovely walks directly from the front door, and a delightful and historical village barely 10 minutes’ walk away.
Had a wonderful week. Fantastic house. Beautiful walks, great weather, dogs loved it too. We'll be back!
