Pembrokeshire is the UK’s only Coastal National Park and its 186 miles of coast is the perfect place for spotting, seals, dolphins, puffins and more.
Pembrokeshire is well known as one of the most beautiful locations to visit and explore . As well as beauty there is an abundance of wonderful wildlife waiting for you. Pembrokeshire is the UK’s only Coastal National Park and its 186 miles of coast is the perfect place for spotting, seals, dolphins, puffins and more.
The islands dotted along the coast of Pembrokeshire make a wonderful home to many fascinating species. Why not head to Ramsay Island near St David’s to see the Atlantic Grey Seal, which can be seen here all year round. Pembrokeshire is home to a staggering 5,000 Atlantic Grey Seals and the population increases over the late summer months when they give birth to their pups.
However it’s not only around Ramsay Island that you’ll find the seals as they can be seen all around the coast of Pembrokeshire. Seals can often be spotted near Moylegrove, Strumble Head and Solva.
Another island well worth a visit for wildlife is Skomer, located less than a mile off the coast of Pembrokeshire the island is famous for its Puffins. However the Puffins are just the tip of the iceberg, you can also see Manx Shearwaters, Dolphins, Harbour Porpoises, Atlantic Grey Seals and Gannets here.
So head to our Experience Môr Pembrokeshire Cottages and head out and explore the spectacular wildlife that the surrounding area has to offer.

Really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful house with good facilities and excellent location. Would recommend Newport and Aberfforest beaches, as well as Newgale. The Golden Lion in Newport is excellent for food, and is dog friendly.
A very enjoyable 2 weeks in a comfortable well-equipped cottage with a beautiful garden and situated in a superb location
A great place, time and craic, much laughter

I really don't have words to express. Don't want to see heaven, but this is heaven on earth & also a holy place. I wish I could write 100 pages about the cottage but this will be less.
- “This was our first visit to Penmynydd Uchaf and we absolutely loved it. With its fantastic views and beautiful location we couldn’t have wanted more. The house was stunning, very well equipped and very very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave! We will most definitely be visiting again and we hope to visit one of Jonty’s other properties in the very near future. Thanks for the memories Jonty.”

We love St David's trips out to islands & surf beach @ Whitesands. Butchers in Newport lovely "wild" meat. Boys put their wetsuits on and explored the river.V interesting wildlife and bat life; lovely for some photography .. The house is also v well equipped & comfortable. Thank you.
We loved the peace and quiet. the sound of the birds, bats and river was so enjoyable and relaxing. The only disturbances was the clay pigeon shooting but the boys enjoyed it very much.
Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location, loved the lengthy single track road to the cottage, the garden wildlife, the river and the pitch black nights. Newport town and beach is great - dogs loved it. Great walks including some fantastic viewpoints from mountains in the local area.

“A true gem of a cottage” The previous reviewers have mentioned it all, whether it is the highest quality of the content and fittings, the wonderful setting, the gardens and river, the peace and quiet (with the exception of the local owl population), the welcome we received on arrival or the helpfulness of the owner and his staff.
