Conditions of Hire

The following are conditions for the booking of an Experience Môr  property

In these conditions:

“We” or “Us”         Experience Môr – Penmynydd Uchaf, Dinas Cross, Newport, Pembrokeshire. SA42 0YH

“Property”            One of the  Experience Môr properties  – Glandwr Farmhouse, Dyffryn Tawel, Glantawel or Penmynydd Uchaf

“You”                    the guest

1. GUESTS

You agree to take good care of the Property, to leave it clean and tidy and to replace any breakages. This is a condition of our acceptance of your reservation.

2. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

In order that the Property can be thoroughly cleaned and inspected between lets, lettings commence at 4.00pm on arrival day and terminate at 10.30am on departure day.

3. BOOKINGS

(a)  You must  provide all the required contact details online or complete and return the Booking Form provided by Us.

(a) You must pay a reservation deposit of 50% when making any booking.

(b)    The balance of the rental is due to Us no later than six weeks before the commencement of the letting. If We do not receive your balance by that date We may assume You have cancelled your reservation and may seek to re-let the Property. You will be held responsible for the balance of the rent due. If we do re-let, an administration charge will be deducted from your deposit before any refund is made.

(c)     Once a booking is confirmed by Us in writing or by Email following receipt of the reservation deposit, a contract will have been deemed to have been formed between You and Us.

(d)    If you book within 6 weeks of letting the whole rent is immediately required to be paid to Us to confirm the reservation

(e)     A charge for heating is included in the rental figure between the months of October and April. A supply of logs sufficient for your first evening will be supplied by us,  further supplies of seasoned hardwood logs are available at £6 per bag.

(f)     Up to a maximum of 2 dogs (unless specifically agreed) are allowed at an extra charge of £12.50 per dog. On no account shall dogs be allowed on furniture or in bedroom areas. Guests are required to remove all evidence of their dogs before departure and all “poo” bags shall be disposed of WITHIN strong bags within the refuse bags provided

(g)        Guests will at all times endeavour to abide by Our stated ethical and environmental policies and those of Pembrokeshire National Park.

4. OCCUPANCY

(a)  You agree that the maximum number of people to use the Property will be no greater than the maximum number of occupants shown on the Booking Form unless previously agreed by Us.

(b)    As we offer the Property primarily for family holidays, We reserve the right to refuse  or curtail any reservation which appears not to meet this requirement, either by numbers in the party or composition.

(c)     We reserve the right to make a charge for damage, damaged or missing items, or any other than normal cleaning by Us.

(d)     You are required to advise us of your expected arrival time 48 hours before arrival

(e)       If, for whatever reason, You have to curtail your visit you must inform Us immediately, leave the property secure and, if the heating has been used, turn all thermostats down to no more than 10ºC

5. SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside the Property

6.LINEN

Towels, bath mats, , flannels, slippers, dressing gowns and bed linen are provided at no extra cost. Towels are not to be taken outside the property (eg the beach) or for the drying of dogs.

7. TELEPHONE

Landlines are provided at West Barn, The Cheese House, Dyffryn Tawel, Glantawel and Glandwr for the benefit of guests not obtaining a satisfactory mobile signal. You agree to pay for excessive use of this facility  and not to connect any other equipment to the landline.

8. BROADBAND

By accessing our Broadband, either directly or indirectly, you agree not to use it for any abnormal or illegal activity.

9. LIABILITY

(a)    No liability is accepted in respect of loss or damage to You or any member  of your party, their baggage, car or contents, resulting from riot, war, strikes, adverse weather conditions, sickness, injury, or for loss or damage by a third party.

(b)    You will abide by our directions or instructions with regard to the use of any facilities in our ownership.

10. COMPLAINTS

If it is felt that there are reasonable grounds for complaint about the Property, we must be contacted immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. No such matters can be dealt with after completion of your rental period.

11. ACCESS

We or our representative shall be allowed access to the Property at any reasonable time for cleaning or essential maintenance. Whenever possible, this would be by prior arrangement.

12. INSURANCE

No Cancellation insurance is included within this price

13. CANCELLATION BY YOU

In the event of cancellation at least 14 days before your stay, for whatever reason, We will endeavour to re-let the cottage on your behalf, subject to an administration charge of £50. Later cancellation will result in the complete forfeit of any amounts paid if We are unable to re-let

14. CANCELLATION BY OURSELVES

If, for whatever reason,  the Property becomes unavailable We will offer you alternative accommodation of at least equal standard, if at all possible. Should this not meet with your approval or if no alternative is available, all monies shall be returned in full and We shall not be under any other liability.

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information given either orally or written and all representations are made in good faith, no such representations will create any liability on our part.

These conditions supersede all previous issues.
